The NEEDS diabetes team run a variety of courses

We have the following HCP courses running this year.

Diabetes Topical Course – 3 day face to face course at the Holiday Inn eight ash green. Ideal for HCPs wanting to build their skills around the management of people with type 2 diabetes.

• Day 1 day – oral therapies – Mon 16^th September
• Day 2 – GLP 1s   -Tuesday 1^st October            
• Day 3 – Insulins – Tuesday 8^th October

Pharmacy update – HCP update on medications for people with diabetes lead by a consultant diabetologist and a NEEDS clinician, with input from a local lead pharmacist.

October 15^th 2024 1.30 – 4.30pm at The Holiday Inn, eight ash green.

Annual HCP diabetes update – Ideal for HCPs who would like an update on key areas around diabetes. Topics include: Motivational interviewing techniques, tips for improving HbA1c – type 1 and type 2, technology update, young people National update, pregnancy and diabetes.
