Diabetes Training for NEE Colleagues

The NEEDS run a variety of courses including:

• Diabetes Topical/ MERIT courses – Ideal to upskill in the management of people with type 2 diabetes.
• An annual Pharmacy update – HCP update on medications for people with diabetes.
• Half day Care home training session- update for staff working in Care homes/Nursing Homes.
• Annual Diabetes and Care Planning – explores the importance of the 2 step process of the annual review for people with diabetes.
• Annual Diabetes Update – One day course focusing on recent updates in diabetes and continuing diabetes competencies.
