The TNBGQ Delivery Group received three of the eight available awards for their work to deliver a pilot local enhanced service for primary care!
National and local evidence demonstrates that TNBGQ people have poorer mental and physical health outcomes than the general population and face significant inequity in accessing gender and non-gender related health care.
The project is led by Dawn Taylor, ICB Personalised Care Team. The pilot LES and its associated training programme were co- produced with a network of people with lived experience, hosted by Su Conquer on behalf of Healthwatch Suffolk and the associated training programme developed and coordinated by Martin von Fragstein, SNEE Training Hub.
Award Winners:
- Martin von Fragstein – SNEE Training Hub and Beccles Medical Centre – The Hughes Award for Trauma Informed Practice in House.
- Su Conquer – Healthwatch Suffolk – The UOS Award for Trauma Informed Practice Innovation.
- Dawn Taylor – SNEE ICB – The Ellis Award for Trauma Informed Practice in Leadership.
