Social Prescribers provide valuable connections to practical, social and emotional support for people with a wide range of needs. Sadly, this can also include people affected by terminal illness and/or grief and bereavement.
Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity. We know that 1 in 4 people don’t get the care and support they need at end of life and those who are vulnerable are most likely to miss out. We are committed to closing this gap, and we have a wealth of information and resources for people dealing with these difficult issues.
So that Social Prescribers are better able to support their clients, we’d like to invite them to attend our 2-Part Webinar Series for Social Prescribers based in the East of England:

Grief affects everyone differently. Understanding grief can help us process our own experiences, and support clients who’ve been bereaved. In this session, we’ll provide advice on how to talk to someone who is recently bereaved and how to help them access further support.
