Suicide Awareness Training

Due to popular demand of the two previous webinar training we have organised some more training days.

This course is a mixed delivery format of two modules: 

• Part A: Suicide Awareness Training eLearning (1.5 hours)
• Part B*: Suicide Response Training (SAFETool) Live Webinar (2 hours)

*Note: You must complete Part A before attending Part B

Part B Dates:

• Thursday 6th February 2025, 14:00 – 16:00
• Tuesday 25th February 2025, 14:00 – 16:00

In order to register for this training, you must be available to complete both formats (PART A & PART B) of training.

PART A: Suicide Awareness – eLearning helps participants understand how distress develops and how people can best be supported, develops a compassionate approach for time-pressured professionals and equips everyone to make own personal Safety Plan.

PART B: Suicide Response – Live Webinar equips GPs and clinical staff with the confidence and competencies to be able to deliver safer clinical care for those at risk of suicide through the use of SAFETool.

After completion of both formats, you will receive:

• 3.5 CPD hours Attendance Certificates.
• Detailed Participant Booklets.
• Editable SAFETool PDF template.
• License to use EMIS and SystmOne SAFETool template where available.
• Free access to SAFETool Support Module eLearning to complete at own pace to practice using SAFETool.

While this training is free to complete, there has been a significant investment made and therefore this is a limited opportunity.
