This course is an interactive online experience about mental health on Thursday 21st November 2024. The lead course organiser is Sarah Kimberly-Fisk alongside the co-organisers Natalie Bailey and Raman Lakshman.

9:15 to 9:45 – LD CAMHS – Overview

What Resources are available to support the mental health needs of children and young people with a learning disability.

10:00 to 10:50 – Emotional Wellbeing Hub, MHST, U18s Wellbeing Specialist CAMHS – Overview

Understanding the referral pathway from Emotional Wellbeing Hub into therapeutic pathways from Early Intervention to Specialist CAMHS and what is on offer.

11:10 to 12:00 – A simple guide for front line staff to managing CYP who are not eating normally.

20 Minute Break

12:10 to 13:00 – Role of the Head of Mental Health in Acute Hospitals.

30 Minute Lunch Break

13:30 to 14:00 – Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) –NSFT Specialist team overview of provision and offer.

14:00 to 14:50 – Kooth – Overview of service provision

15:00 to 15:30 – Suffolk Wellbeing Service (SWS) – Overview of service provision.

15:30 to 16:00 -.Final questions and end of day reflections.
