Bereavement Support Service Conference

End of life care St Elizabeth Hospice’s Living Grief Team is hosting its first

Bereavement Support Service Conference which is aimed at professionals working in bereavement support in East Anglia.

This is an opportunity for you to hear an

overview of bereavement support from the national perspective, get a shared

presentation of other services around bereavement, network with and join others in

a similar field, and attend an experiential workshop led by the Living Grief Team

called ‘Grief and the Body – A Compassionate and Creative Way of Working’.

The conference is taking place on March 11 from 10am to 4pm at Ridley’s Cafe

within St Elizabeth Hospice, 5 Foxhall Road, Ipswich IP3 8LX. If you are interested in

attending, the hospice is looking for bereavement professionals and organisations

to present their work and service. This could be a general overview of your service,

a particular project you would like others to know about, a case study, or a led

discussion about gaps in provision. Each presenter will be allocated a 15-minute

slot. Attendance is free but spaces are limited. If you wish to attend please email

[email protected] no later than February 12, specifying if

you’d like to attend only or also to present your service with some information on

what you would like to say.
